If you think your manuscript is perfect and doesn't need an editor—think again. Having an objective pair of eyes review your work is one of the best investments you can make, especially if you are considering self-publishing.

All our editing is carried out using Microsoft Word Track Changes.
Proofreading:
This is a single pass option to fix spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors. Contact us about Proofreading.
Copy Editing:
This is a two-pass option. We’ll check all areas of your work, from spelling and grammar, to sentence structure and manuscript consistencies. For example, wasn’t that car red on the last page? Didn’t that guy have blue eyes at the beginning of the story? Changes for improvement are suggested inline, after which the manuscript is sent back to you to process edits and make any changes. Substantive Edits:
Have you written a story, but it needs a great deal of work and you know it? This will whip it into shape. This level is geared towards advising you, the author, on how to improve the mechanics of your writing, rather than simply correcting it. This level is ideal if you're just starting out. Don’t know what level of editing your manuscript requires? That's fine too. Send us your work and we can suggest what level of editing you may require. If you’d rather not send the whole manuscript, you can select two random 2,000-word samples to submit. Rest assured, though, our quotation service is completely confidential and no-obligation. Pricing:
Quotes are based on a per 1,000-word price, so that you can easily calculate the cost for your whole manuscript. This could range from US$2.00 per 1,000 words, and upwards, depending on the amount of work required, and the level of editing you request.
